Going back to when I was still half-fare, under 14 years old, and used to roam the local bus networks on a 'rover' ticket. I did this on London Transport (mostly the green buses) and also on Wilts/Hants & Dorset from my gran's home in Downton, near Salisbury. My collection is almost entirely based upon nostalgia - routes I travelled on and buses I saw and liked. I have written more about this here
My baby brother passed away nominally on 18 February, but probably a little before. He was two years my junior, and so it was rather unexpected, despite him having a stroke about 18 months ago, which left him with great difficulty remembering words. He was not a great one for communicating ever, but this made things even more tricky. We fought a lot when we were young, but matured into pleasant civility - we were never 'close'. He was ever the 'loner' and lived his life a something of a hermit. But blood is thicker than water and it feels like a bit of me died with him. We did share a love of music, and there is a link to some of his (downloadable) musical creations in the photo.
